When I read Alex Reid's essay on blogging, I realized how important blogging was. I learned that every expert in writing, dedicated at least 10,000 hours of writing before they started developing into a writer. Also, there is no such thing as "The Perfect Writer" because you can improve your writing skills everyday no matter how good you are. In my opinion, blogging is a form of free-writing, where you can express your ideas without being judged on professionalism. Blogging is also a way to improve your writing skills. For example, you can state your opinion on a particular topic in 3 sentences or less. From those sentences, you can develop a thesis that can bring about an argument that can lead you to writing a paper. Blogging has improved my writing skills and I continue to get better day by day. This essay lets me know, the blogs I post have valuable meaning to them which includes hidden ideas or arguments within the post that can be discovered by me or my audience.
